MEDELLIN, VENUE CITY

Capital of the department of Antioquia, called “the mountain capital”, for being located in the heart of the Andean mountain chain.

In this city live the “paisas”, its inhabitants, who generate 15% of the country richness. This region is considered the main energy generator in the country, the greatest banana exporter and the most important gold producer. All previous and more reasons make of Medellín the second economic center in Colombia.

Medellin has been recognized in the world for its building industry. Important bulding materials manufacturers and builders are based in this place, companies advanced on internationalization proccesses oriented to high quality and innovation standards for their products.
